Forgot to re-upload this. I fixed a few things, like darkened the blood and the bandage on his tail. Both were too bright. And I shaded his collar, which I forgot to do the first time.
For those of you looking at this for the first time, this is my mutant Charlie. His ability is strength, though it's also accompanied by rage. When he gets frustrated to a point, his rage explodes and he's blinded by it. Usually the result is someone's death, which has happened in this picture. He was captured when he was young and sold into an underground fighting association. He had to fight for his life on a regular basis, which meant he had to kill many of his fellow mutants. But here, he's feeling defeated because the only thing keeping him alive is the thought of his sister, who was sold for slavery and who he doesn't even know if she's alive or not.
I like it I still feel so bad for Charlie and it shows so much emotion within the peeechure. I could barely notice the collar in the first one, but now it's a lot more visible. Blood looks good too.
Thanks hun. I do like how this piece turned out. Maybe not one of my absolute favorites, but Charlie is such a deeply disturbed character that I had to draw something just as dark for him.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
